ISO17100 certification announcement
This is to announce that ABES Company, Ltd., has obtained certification in ISO17100, an international standard pertaining to translation services, from April, 2016. The subject fields are “industry and science and technology”, and the target languages are English and Japanese.
The purpose of obtaining ISO17100 is to deliver translation services that will meet our customers’ quality requirements, by strictly adhering to the specified items that apply to the translation process and to translators’ translation capabilities.
ISO17100 certification means that it has been recognized that ABES Company, Ltd., has in place a quality management system that can provide quality translation and services. Our translation system specializes in IT software, a field in which we have built up much expertise, and we will continue to provide “the best for our customers”.

ISO17100
ISO17100: 2015 is an international standard that specifies requirements for all aspects of the translation process that directly affect the quality and delivery of translation services.
The standard sets out for translation service providers (TSPs) the minimum requirements relating to the management of core processes, the qualifications and competency of translators and others, the availability and management of resources, and actions necessary for the delivery of high quality translation services.
